A "time" from the Dictionary
of Newfoundland English is
defined as; "a party or
celebration, esp. a communal
gathering with entertainment."
In Newfoundland a 'time' has always
been of the utmost importance - when
life is hard it's an escape from the day
to day grind, when life is good it's a
celebration of our glorious independence of spirit. This year we celebrate our past through words, stories, music and laughter - come, sit back, tap your toes or clap your hands as we entertain you with our spirit!
