YOUTH THEATRE PROGRAM

Theatre Newfoundland Labrador operates a hugely popular youth theatre program dedicated to the promotion of the arts in young people. Through our program, we hope to enable students to develop the focus, confidence, and communication skills that can impact every aspect of their lives. Classes are designed to encourage risk-taking and promote the discovery of individual strengths as well as team-work and work ethic. Students Grades 4 and up are given the opportunity of performing in one of a number of our very challenging and popular youth theatre productions.

TNL's youth theatre classes are closed for the winter semester. Our next semester of classes begin in September. Please check back in August for information on registration for the fall semester. Meanwhile please show your interest and support for youth theatre by attending our next production - Jane Austen's SENSE AND SENSIBLITY (adaptation by Jon Jory) playing at the Arts & Culture Centre August 26 - 28, 2013.

We are presently accepting application for our youth theatre intensive - Stage Head Academy for children aged 6 - 18 years. Please see below for more information on Stage Head. Classes are structured according to age and grade and run for ten (10) sessions.

For more information on youth theatre please contact Sara...h McDonald @ 639 7238 or email youth@theatrenewfoundland.com
