YOUTH THEATRE PROGRAM

Theatre Newfoundland Labrador operates a hugely popular youth theatre program dedicated to the promotion of the arts in young people. Through our program, we hope to enable students to develop the focus, confidence, and communication skills that can impact every aspect of their lives. Classes are designed to encourage risk-taking and promote the discovery of individual strengths as well as team-work and work ethic. Students Grades 4 and up are given the opportunity of performing in one of a number of our very challenging and popular youth theatre productions.

TNL presently offers classes for children aged 6 - 18 years under the instruction on
of Artistic Associate in Charge of Education and Outreach Programming, Sara…h
McDonald-Anderson and her assistants. Classes are structured according to age and grade and run for ten (10) sessions or December 10th, 2011. The cost is $150 per student and $100 for each sibling. The expected start date for our Fall 2011 semester is the week of September 19th, 2011.

We are presently pre-registering students and as class space is much in demand,
interested students are encouraged to apply early for entry into the program.
Parents/students will be informed of their acceptance into the program the first week of September.
