Theatre Newfoundland Labrador is a member of the Professional Association of Canadian Theatres (PACT). The Gros Morne Theatre Festival is a major Canadian Theatre Festival based in Cow Head, Newfoundland and Labrador in the Gros Morne National Park. We will produce a full professional 16-week summer repertory season that includes 6 plays along with a visiting artist series and workshop development weeks. There are two performances nightly in the Nurse Myra Bennett Centre for the Performing Arts. Cow Head is at the north boundary of the Gros Morne National Park and artists will be assigned housing throughout the community.
Please submit a video of two pieces, one contemporary monologue and one music piece. Please also include a clip of any musical instrument you play and talents or special skills you’d like us to see (i.e., clowning, juggling, etc.). Please be familiar with our work, you can find an archive of our seasons on our website at theatrenewfoundland.com. The core of our season is Newfoundland and Labrador based work so please consider that when choosing your audition pieces. You can sing a cover song, but a Newfoundland and Labrador song will probably resonate with us. Please also attach a resume.
