2022 marks the 40th anniversary of the sinking of the Ocean Ranger. To pay the mortgage, a young woman’s husband took a job on a rig in Newfoundland so they could clear a way to fulfill their dreams. A tragedy at sea, and an unspeakable loss, lead her to relive the greatest love of her life; from their first Valentine’s Day, to their last. “Jewel” is a breath-takingly beautiful, funny, and heart-breaking play.
