Based on Daphne du Maurier’s 1952 short story. Mysterious flocks of birds have begun to attack at high tide, driving strangers Nat and Diane to take refuge in an isolated, abandoned house by the sea. The couple quickly form a bond as they attempt to survive in their new circumstances but with no electricity and a scarcity of food, the tension is palpable, and hope is waning. The arrival of a mysterious young woman, Julia, ruffles feathers in the house and quickly threatens to destroy their so-called sanctuary.
